Lesa Ledbetter

Lesa Ledbetter, age 56, of Rutherfordton, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at her residence.

Lesa was born Tuesday, March 8, 1966 in Yancey County to the late Ray Street and Faye Ray Street. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at Fair Haven Home in Bostic. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and loved spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Street and brother, Charlie Street.

Those left to cherish fond memories include her husband of thirty-one years, Gerry Ledbetter; children, Amanda Ledbetter of Rutherfordton, Jonathan Ledbetter (Kayla) of Rutherfordton, Danny Honeycutt of Raleigh, NC and Ashley Robinson (C.J.) of Spruce Pine, NC; siblings, Keith Street of Ellenboro, Linda Allen of Yancey County, NC, Tammy Street of Spruce Pine, Gary Allen (Sarah) of Spruce Pine and Ray Allen (Rita) of Spruce Pine; eight grandsons and one granddaughter.

The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 2nd at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
