Mark Moore

Zacariah “Mark” Moore, age 60, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 of COVID complications surrounded by loving family members. He was born April 2, 1961 in Rutherford County Hospital and was the son of the late Grady Lee (Jay) and Margie Baynard Moore.

Mark attended Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC and was employed by Greif Industrial Packaging for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years Ginger Hoffman Moore, son, Justin Mark Moore (Tara) Columbia, SC, daughters Michelle Stricker (Jeff) Rock Hill, SC, and Megan Moore, Rock Hill, SC, grandchild Aubrey Duncan of the home, grandchildren Hunter, Bradley, Owen, and Marley Grace Hastings, Macy and Piper Stricker, Nathan Moore and Shae Payne of Rock Hill, SC Six sisters Barbara Jayleen Goforth (Joe) Conover, NC, Dianna Fuller (Johnny) Fort Mill, SC, Randee Freeman (Sheldon) Charlotte, NC, Susie Moore (William) York, SC, Camille Carroll (Keven) Lexington, NC, Selena Swatek (Mark) Huntersville, NC and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mark was an avid hunter and will be remembered as a man of faith who embraced God’s creation to enjoy recreational activities in nature, loved life and was faithful to family and friends.

Memorial service will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Harrelson Funeral Home, 1251 US Highway 221a, Forest City, NC 28043. Burial and receiving of friends will follow immediately in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery, 1743 Chase High Road. Masks are required for all attendees.
