Montgomery Joshelyn Coggins

Montgomery Joshelyn Coggins, infant daughter of Joshua and Nikki Coggins, of Shelby went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.

Montgomery was born Saturday, March 27th at Atrium Health-Shelby. She was dedicated to God through the holy sacrament of baptism on March 31st and is now with the host of heavenly angels. Even though her life on earth was short in days, she made a lasting impression on the hearts of many and will be forever loved and remembered.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Harry Coggins; uncle, Travis Coggins and great-great grandparents, James and Rosie Wilkie.

In addition to her loving parents, her memory will be cherished by two sisters, Memphis Coggins and Sailor-Mae Coggins; maternal grandparents, Sharon Peralta (Charlie) of Ellenboro and Mario Peralta of Mooresboro; maternal great-grandparents, Don and Judy Wilkie of Dobbinsville; paternal grandmother, Millie Coggins of Shelby; several uncles and aunts, which includes special aunts, Stephanie Peralta and Ashley Smith and a special uncle, John Peralta.

Montgomery will lie in state from 5:00 until 6:00 pm on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Harrelson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm on Saturday in the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Chris Glawson officiating.

The family will be gathered at 244 McCraw Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
