Obituary

     Rickie “Rick” Carleton Goode, age 66, of Forest City, NC passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

     Rick was born Thursday, January 19, 1956 in Rutherford County to the late William Albert Goode and Hedy Walker Goode.  He worked as a maintenance technician most of his life.  Rick was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Rick was a jokester.  He always tried to be good to people.  Rick was loved by everyone that knew him.  He was also a member of Little White Country Church.  He will be greatly missed.

     Those left to cherish his memory include of loving wife of 32 years, Brenda Cogdell Goode; children, Michelle Haynes (Jeff), Hannah Crawford (Tim), Carolyn Smith (Tim) and Phil Smith; a sister, Phyllis Williams; two grandchildren, Joseph Terry and Emily Haynes; and a great grandchild, Gemma Withrow; also,a special friend, Ronnie Aldridge.

     A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Little White Country Church in Gilkey with Reverend Donald Dover and Reverend Billy Cogdell officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior the service time at the church
