Obituary

Ronnie Lee Greene, age 65, of Ellenboro, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

     Ronnie was born Saturday, September 15, 1956, in Gaston County, NC to the late William Russell Greene and Virginia Caldwell Greene.  Ronnie worked in construction most of his life. He enjoyed fishing and doing lawn work.  Ronnie loved his family, “Busch” beer, and his dog, Jack Russell Greene.  Ronnie will be greatly missed.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Trevor Ray, two brothers, Roy Alan Greene, and Charles Russell Greene and a sister, Christine Padgett.

     Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Brandi Hardin (William), Kemisha Greason (Brian) both of Ellenboro; a sister, Patsy Self (Leonard) of Boiling Springs, NC; a brother, Preston Greene of Ellenboro.  Ronnie also had four grandchildren, Taylor Hardin, Morgan Hardin, Willow Hardin, and Bryson Greason.

     There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
