Shawn David Reece

Shawn David Reece, age 17, of Bostic, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Shawn was born Monday, August 18, 2003 to Marsha Rochester Cassels and Donald Reece. He loved spending time with his older brother, who was his best friend. Shawn enjoyed listening to music, playing video games, reading his Bible and tinkering with gadgets.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Rochester.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include a grandmother, Beverly Rochester of Bostic; brother, Jonathan Reece of Bostic; stepfather, Marshall Rippy and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on May 10, 2021 at Danieltown Baptist Church with Reverend Creighton Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.
