Susan Green Blanton

Susan Green Blanton, age 69, of Ellenboro, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Susan was born February 23, 1951 in Rutherford County to the late Jim Green and Rosalee Hunsinger Green. She worked for Dicey Fabrics for forty-one years before retirement and was of the Baptist faith. Susan loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Don and Billy Green; three sisters, Chris Green, Margie Davis and Shirley Fish.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Rick Blanton (Joy) of Ellenboro and daughter, Sharon Dobbins (Greg) of Spindale; brother, Jack Green of Forest City; three sisters, Helen Russ of Bostic, Judy Keck and Deb Wood both of Forest City. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Summer Adair (Cody), Autumn Dobbins, Emilee Dobbins, Wayne Spears, Jermey Spears, Brandy Ruppe and a great-granddaughter, Layla Adair.

A private graveside service will be conducted for the family.
